Frequently Asked Question about UUByte ISO Editor

Question 1: License Code Not Received

At UUByte, customer happiness is our top priority so we try our best to make this program working smoothly as possible. Before releasing the final version, we have tested the program on 20+ computers with different OS versions, including Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8 and macOS 10.10 to 10.14. If you have encountered any problem with UUByte ISO Editor, please first read the user manual first.

The email containing license code is usually sent within 5 minutes after the payment being confirmed. If you haven't received it after a while, check the spam folder and make sure the payment was completed successfully. If it's not there, you can contact our support team and they will be happy to help you.

Question 2: Registration Failed

The license code is bundled with purchase email so make sure they are the same when registering the program. Also remove the blank space at the end of each column.

Question 3: USB or CD/DVD Not Bootable After Burning

If this happens, please make sure the Windows ISO is valid. Highly recommend downloading the ISO from Microsoft official website. For Windows 10/8 ISO, please choose UEFI option from boot menu. For Windows 7 and earlier versions, choose disk name without UEFI mark. If you chose the wrong option, then the disk won't boot as expected.

Question 4: USB Not Detected

You should install the right USB driver if the computer couldn't detect the USB drive. Also format the USB drive to FAT32.

Question 5: Problem with Latest Windows 10 ISO?

The latest Windows 10 version is 20H2_v2 and the file size is over 5 GB. For previous version, ISO image larger than 4.5GB is not supported because install.wim file in ISO image exceeds the limitation of FAT32 file system. The good news is that this issue was fixed in latest release of UUByte ISO Editor. Make sure you download the latest version from UUByte official website instead of third-party sources.

Question 4: Run on macOS Big Sur?

UUByte ISO Editor for Mac now works well on macOS Big Sur (11.2.3) as well as Catalina, Mojave, High Serria and Serria.
